As mentioned above, it has something to do with the processing or the beans not actually being fully cooked via boiling, or something like that. It is fairly typical of people with tummy troubles including IBS and Celiac Disease. Do you have trouble eating something like socca or pakora that are made with garbanzo flour? And could it be a quantity thing?
