Interesting:<BR/><BR/>"Immediately after the war, Mr. Schlesinger went to Washington as a freelance journalist for Fortune and other magazines. After 15 months, in 1946, he accepted an associate professorship at Harvard. He said he was so nervous teaching that he vomited before each class; eventually his presentation became so deft that his History 169 course was the department’s most popular offering."Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17804287181963162548noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32458049.post-59606757719550140892007-03-01T10:44:00.000-05:002007-03-01T10:44:00.000-05:00I, for one, am glad more attention is being brough...I, for one, am glad more attention is being brought to this issue. It seems more socially acceptable if you suffer from depression because of all of the *good* attention that has been paid to it, but to me, anxieties seem more taboo--as if people will think less of you if you have them or treat you with kid gloves. That, in turn, exacerbates anxiety.<BR/><BR/>I'm not a fan of Paula Deen, but I was glad to read that piece about her the other day. I had no idea.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17804287181963162548noreply@blogger.com
