Allergen Information, Nestle Toll House, Simply Delicious Morsels

Has anyone else tried the NestleToll House Simply Delicious Morsels?

I wrote to NestleToll House about their new product and it’s allergen-free-ness and this is what they said:

"Thanks for your interest in our Simply Delicious Morsels. Our Simply Delicious lineup is free from the 8 major food allergens. Per labeling regulations, if any of the 8 recognized allergens are in our morsels, they must be listed in the ingredient statement by their common name. Also, there will be a cautionary statement at the end of our packaging ingredient listing if the product is made on the same line, or in the same factory as products containing a recognized allergen. It's recommended that you always check the label before purchasing."

When pressed for more info, Nestle Toll House added this:

"Our Simply Delicious morsels are free from the 8 major food allergens. They are safe to consume if there are any allergies to the top 8 allergens. Nestlé USA has strong internal requirements and rigorous processes in place to ensure that all of our ingredients are obtained from safe and reliable sources. Our facility is dedicated allergen free with both a vertically integrated supply chain with dedicated trucks and ingredient handling practices along with specific allergen control procedures, which gives us added confidence that the products are safe for our consumers who are allergic to any of the 8 major food allergens.
