Hi, I've been seeing an Eastern healer who specializes in TCM for severe, chronic joint and muscle pain. In my initial visit with him, he immediately put me on diet where I cannot have: wheat, cow diary, sugar or any artificial sweetners, chocolate, oats, peanuts, and almonds. In addition, he's done accupuncture, tui na (deep tissue massage), and herbal supplements.
My healing journey this past year has been not only physical but more importantly, an emotional and mental healing as well since I have now learned that all three play a role in my well-being.
I have since become very sympathetic to those who have allergies because I realize how hard it is to go out to a restaurant and eat! I've always loved to cook and the diet has really opened up a whole new world of ingredients and cooking methods for me.
